Everlong-S13
Some lowlife f**khead flamin mongrel stole the caps off my R34 GTR wheels, probably either from my house or Carousel shopping centre. Has anyone run into this problem before, and is there a way to prevent it if I buy some more? AAARGH 33
I'm confused,it's the valve stem caps (dust caps) your talking about right? If it is then yes,it is very common for them to get stolen by young thugs.I know you can get anti-theft ones of Ebay,to find them I just typed in "Nismo anti theft". Only way i could thing of would involve modifying them with a allenkey bolt or similiar holding them on Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/388132-stealing-hubcaps/#findComment-6187577 Share on other sites
StevenCJR31
Saw an old mazda at traffic lights last week, he had a cable tie around one of the spokes on his hubcap and then thru the wheel . . . might not be able to do it with a 34 but maybe food for thought Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/388132-stealing-hubcaps/#findComment-6189157 Share on other sites

Everlong-S13
Thats the problem, they wern't stolen at home and the only other place I parked it was at Carousel shops near the front door, and in the staff parking at Curtin, both places in clear view of security/people. You'd firstly have to know they're worth something, how to take em off and have balls to do it in a public area. I'd gonna be suss on any GTR cap sales over the next week. Hangs sign on front windscreen saying, "This car and it's parts are protected by shot-gun 3 days a week > Guess which days?" smithy85
GTR badges have been known to go walkabouts also, usually end up on some losers toolbox or bookshelf. That said I have seen one on a Honda CR-V! Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/388132-stealing-hubcaps/#findComment-6191186 Share on other sites
