no headlight intake for R33 S2.

GTR only i think it had (need to double check)

Owgasm, most likely 2mm alloy is best. I will have it drawn up in CAD for you guys to send around to get quotes on.

Tommyr34, it will not fall off as its still held in by the same amount of screws as OEM.

If everyone is happy to pay $90 for the wing blade (just waiting on ztuned & tommyR34) to confirm, let me know ASAP via PM.

Owgasm & sinistaGTR, will let you know when the refund goes through.

PewPew, let me know of yours and ztuned's final decision asap :)

Thanks all and sorry about all this hassle.

Ive installed some of my CF parts from this group buy, thought everyone might like to see some results.

I do still need to remove all the parts and get them clear coated to stop them going milky.

that includes removing my PSI parts fog light covers cause one of those has gone milky already and the car is pretty much always in the garage, I hardly get a chance to drive it. I still also have a rear diffuser and eye lids both in CF to install too, Im hoping all the different brands of parts have very similar or matching weaves and colours.

The OEM wing blade wasnt easy to get off for starters, an end bolt needed to be drilled out as it was free turning, but after coming to the dreaded decision that must be done it wasnt too bad and the OEM wing will live to be installed again if needed.

the CF wing blade and end caps fitted not too bad considering the price to be honest...

some slight modifications to the mounting points and some widening of the bolt holes in the blade bracket on the car and they were a firm fit

The fuse box cover wasnt an easy OEM fit either but some mild persuasion and it was all good.

In comparison to other more expensive CF parts there are obvious fitting differences, the most expensive parts fit perfect like OEM, but to the untrained eye most would not be able to tell the differences between these parts from the group buy to the brand name jap stuff I have.

I did a weave shot from my Garage Defend cooling panel and the fuse box cover. there is a slight wave in the surface of the fuse box cover and the weave is bit neater on the defend piece but overall similar size weave on both so may come fairly close to matching.

It is interesting to note that only one of the fog light covers has gone milky, the other is fine, so thats even stranger cause same supplier, same batch even, same sunlight exposure... so I dunno...

thanks for the pics Scott!

i love the carbon blade on the R33 cause its much thicker than the R34, it makes the car stand out!

i have 2 R34 wing blades left over, for $90 each, does anyone want to purchase them?

This is the CAD drawing for the R34 end plates, you can run these as optional, i recommend just getting the basic shape of the plate, and get bolts to suit and the holes drilled and tapered to suit the bolt, recommended plate thickness = 2mm.

2.5mm end plate may fit as well.

The standard screws will not fit as they are too fat and wide.

so some hunting around for 2mm thick tappered head screws (like below) or ultra flat pan screws.

Original OEM blade with end plates: 131.3cm

Original OEM blade without end plates: 130.3cm

End Plates: 5mm each

Carbon wing blade with 2mm alloy end plates: 131.2cm
