Rb20Det Problem Help!

hey guys, ive just put a new cooler on today and i have moved my amf into the piping (just before cross over pipe). i started her up and its running like crap and it stalls? it runs with the tps un-pluged soon as i plug it in again runs like crap then it stalls i have reset my ecu... still the same problem. in theory if there is a leak in my cooler piping the car should still run with the hose off because the afm is just before the cross over pipe any ideas on this would be great... ive spent hours trying to suss it out.....

Are you getting it tuned to suite if not put it to the stock posttion

not for a while ive gotta get it to run... also when i rev it stalls i have re soldered my afm aswell made sure it was working right its pissing me right off

Afm in the right way?? If ur running a stock bov and run the afm in the piping u now will have a vacuum leak

I never had a problem running mine like that but I had no bov

if i hold it on the revs i can hear it misfiring and popping out the exhaust it won let me rev it much and soon as im off the throttle it stalls...

i just swapped it back over and it was running better it did not stall after letting off the throttle but it still had the constant miss fire at idle and the dropping of revs... so i have no idea....

hey guys Rapidflow was right i cut out a small part of a coke can put it in under the bov worked perfect runs spot on i forgot that bov's are open at idle only close when buliding boost.. cheers Rapidflow!!!
