Removing R32 Gtr Starter Motor

Gotta pull the starter out to fix a small coolant leak above the starter.

Have herd it's tricky to remove, does anyone here have any tips for removing it fuss free?

What tools did you use?

IIRC is just tight for space (no shit huh? . stubby ratchet ring spanner.

I did plenum off (which is much more work) to all the little hoses when i got a leak there.

Engine was out last month, stupid for not changing the hoses

I didn't have many dramas doing a mates 33. Bottom one was simple enough. Top one I stood in front of the car and reached down to it (mind you I'm quite tall) then from bottom pull it out and take batt cable off. Top bolt was done completely by feel as Its near impossible to see.

was actualy easy to get off, i just used the long socket extension and at the end of the extension used the ratchet ring spanner to undo it,...worked a treat !
