Here are a few photos that I thought I had lost. Took them about a year ago at Marulan. Just re-discovered that I had in fact saved them.

That is a pretty reliable looking camera phone man, that web has some decent clarity!

Being a phone, you have to muck around with it a bit.

Still dreaming of a decent camera.

Keep seeing low light shots, bit phone can't capture them.

Photographed a huge three day wedding in Canberra this Easter weekend. Groom is also fellow forum member here.

Also gave me a chance to really test out the 5d3. Few issues with it, but overall seems like a great camera.

5d3, 135L, f2

I loved how the whole subject is in focus and super sharp. Pretty much straight out of the camera. Just increase in contrast, +5 in saturation, +5 clarity and that's it.

Here is a 12800 ISO shots.

No editing whats so ever. Handheld image in the pitch black and focus was so quick.

exif should be intact:

One more ISO 12800 shot.

No editing, hand held shot.

For websize you can hardly see any noise. But amazed at how quick the focus was in near pitch black conditions.

Here is a 100% crop. Not to bad actually.

I think there is about 1/2-1stop better in noise performance.

Photo taken at 2.30am in the morning. Yup 2.30am

This one was with a 5d2. I was using the 5d3 at the start but then for some reason I couldn't change the aperture lol. Turned the camera on and off but still couldnt change it. Change lenses thinking something was loose etc but still no luck. So grabbed my 5d2 instead.

Next morning I realized the lock button was on hahahaha. I think the long day affected my thinking. But seriously no idea why canon put a lock button down the bottom. Who uses the lock button anyways??

damn that 5d3 is good Sidd. my G12 gets unusable over around ISO800, lol. i reckon i would make use of ISO12800 a fair bit in my travels, specially knowing how sweet the pics would turn out.

Hope everyone had an awesome Easter break. I went on a bit of a water sports trip with my mates. Took the camera Most of the time, the camera would bounce above my head when the best shots were available, so I was taking photos hoping for the best haha.

congrats dude. you already know how much i love that first shot, crazy. the group seem a little over sharpened or something tho? they seem a bit 'grainer' than normal, or am i tripping?

i should get off my butt and take some shots soon. poor camera probably forgot what it was built for

Yeah, they're over sharpened when resized. On full size they look ok here though. Except maybe the canoe one. that one looks a bit to sharp here too.
