Quickest Way For Fix R33 Rb20 Fuel Injectors (A4600)

Recommended Posts

Hey All,

I've been trying for a few days now to track down replacement fuel injectors for an RB20E. It uses stock A4600 injectors which seem rather hard to find. Best I can do at the moment is some $1200 and 3 week wait - sounds more like the cost of a new engine! Posts in Wanted-To-Buy have turned up no results. Would it be cheaper / faster to upgrade the whole fuel system / engine to RB25? Atleast I might pickup a turbo for the money rather than some boring old fuel injectors.

Thoughts or advice?

Luke

Are your injectors top feed? if so then you will find that R32 RB20det will fit and R32 RB25de injectors will fit,. . . stock R33 RB25DET injectors are SIDE feed and unlikely to go on your stock intake manifold without a fight

drop in a 25... I think you have the worst combo motor the skylines came out with... 2 litre, non turbo, single overhead cam. wouldn't put to much money on it...

if you stick with the n/a route I have seen n/a 25de's go for about $600-900 complete, turbo 25de's about 1500-2000.

    • To be fair this is the wife’s car. However, I have been accused of owning more cars than I have pairs of undies. Luckily I change my undies more frequently than the cars.
    • Cheers Lads Looking at changing up a few things maybe go 2.8lt, bigger injectors with more a modern Turbo. Possibly transbrake and convert to E85 with Haltech ECU. Any thoughts on those Mods changes or better ideas? Want to try keep the car Street/Strip While also being weekend drivable still.
