Best I could do was back up my 12.3,

Clutch didn't seem to like 300+kW+Drag launches+fat heavy car and is now rather f**ked.

I wont be buying another exedy clutch as it only lasted 9 drag launches and 10k km of fairly sensible street driving most of it on 280kW.

DVS JEZ what would you suggest? Car isn't driven daily and pedal weight is less of a concern but i would like to maintain some feel and not go back to the on/off switch HKS twin plate i had in it.

I've just had the same with an Exedy clutch, it's been in my car for approx. 10 months, and it's gone - in the space of about 2 weeks it went from mild slipping in 4th and 5th to slipping really badly in every gear except first. I've done 8 drag launches (at the SAU Drag Day last year) and the odd Texi day (I usually volunteer for the Texi days, so I only tend to do 2 or 3 runs in a day).

I'm looking for a Nismo Super Coppermix single at a somewhat decent price - can anyone hook a brother up???

i actualy should have went heathcote yesterday apparently no rain and a mate ran an 8.9 in his street car!

Must be pretty trick. They get a bit twitchy and take your plate#, boot you out if you don't have the right cage/chute/gear at those speeds.

Daleo and Myself are heading out to WSID on Wenesday the 22nd of August anyone else keen to come down and join us???

I possibly could be interested, I'm dead stock right now, so it would be good to see how it improves over time.

I might be keen, don't know if I can do better:(

Awesome Rudi; it would be great to see you, we need to chat.

Set yourself a benchmark, and watch the times drop as you make changes.

Mine did a 14.9 standard; there's a line in the sand for you, Brick.

How much is it and what do i need to bring along? Do they do much scrutinering?(the dodgy people who complied my car didnt change the tires so it still has japanese tires on it) I may have a band rehearsal, but if not i would say that im in for sure if there are a few other guys going. Would be good to meet a few other stag owners

its only $50 and you could possibly get up to 5-6 runs depending on how busy it is.

you need a helmet and long sleved shirt and pants. scrutinering is easy as long as the car is road worthy. tires should be ok.

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
