* leather jacket or equivalent

* long pants

* boots & gloves

* To run quicker than these you will need an ANDRA licence

All helmets need to be less than 12 years old from Date of Manufacture AND meet one of the following Standards:

SNELL SA2000

SNELL SA2005

SNELL 2000 / 2005

SNELL M2000

SNELL M2005

BS 6658-1985

SFI 41.2A

SFI 31.2A

AS/NZ 1698:2006

is the current requirements..

also alot of people think the helemts with "AS 1698" is the same as "AS/NZ 1698:2006" and its not,

their two different classifications.

13 January 2009 - The helmet regulations have changed, any ANDRA licenced holder is to abide by the

current ANDRA rule book at any event. At Test'n'Tunes and Street Series events we will be

allowing street vehicles (i.e - non ANDRA licence holders) to still use the AS1698 standard helmet.

If we are just going to spectate, can we pay on that day ? if not, what proof of payment should we bring along on that day to gain entry to the event??? Also if I am gonna bring 2 more friends, it will be $60....what reference should i put on the payment to confirm that we are gonna only spectate??

So the only cars on the track will be us? Open to Evo, Sti, etc?

Asking as myself and friends were disappointed at the regular test n tune due to the massive number of cars.

We have exclusive hire of the track between 2-4pm, no other cars will be there but who we have as on our paid list, regular Test'N'Tune starts at 4pm & is open to general public.

Last year I ran 15 times in the 2hrs we had booked

No its looking pretty messy. Weather forecast for 2mrw is fine & sunny but watch tihis post for information in case the weather turns nasty & the event is postponed.

If we are running 2mrw then pay at the gate will be fine.

Remember to bring ur helmet

    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
    • EMU Classic. For what I need it to do I see no reason to upgrade. Link and Haltech would both cost an extra chunk of money for a lot of unutilized features
