Hi all,

Ok I got a bit of a tough one for you guys.

I have a Skyline 370gt 2008 model. My last track day I went out and I fried the rear rotors and pads so bad I ran them down to the pads. So looking at replacing and doing an upgrade.

My model 370gt only has the Single pot front caliper with 330 x 32 mm Rotors. and Rear 330 x 16mm Rotors.

I have been doing some research as to Brake kits and Upgrades out there and I am aware the Sports Model 370gt comes with a Akebono Calipers which increases the rotors 14' / 350mm Brake kit which pretty much bolt straight up. Increasing the Rotors out to 350mm. Which would be a nice upgrade.

I can get the Akebono kit from the states not trouble but weary on freight costs because of the items weighing so much I have however found a Wrecked 370Z which has the Akebono Calipers on it but only has 320mm rotors so rotors will be no good but I need to confirm if I put those calipers on my car will the rotor size then increasesout to accomodate a 350mm rotor? or will I need a Mounting bracket to fit the 370z calipers? my plan was then to go and source my own 350mm rotors to fit the G37 which I think if I have read correctly the 370z rotors fit straight up with the Akebono Calipers. I am trying to get the best outcome with out spending huge $$.

Hope this make sense guys your input would be much appreciated.

How did you figure out that 370Z has 320mm rotors? If that's correct, it should be equipped with sliding calipers.

If Akebono calipers aren't modified on that Z (like cut/rewelded lugs) then there will be no trouble with putting them on your car.
