Craved do a good job, I've seen his work on someone elses covers and it looks great

or if you want to cheap out you can do what I did and spray them with touch up paint from super cheap, painted mine evoke metallic (VE Holden colour):

Awesome bloke to deal with, good pricing and REALLY goes the extra mile to get it done right.....

You can coat it yourself with paint like the guys have below (looks pretty good) but if your not confident then you cant go wrong with Craved :D

And NO i have nothing to do with them, i was just a VERY happy customer and like to share the experience!!

I have also heard nothing but great things about craved and I am up in QLD so the reputation crave has actually gets around.

Agree ^

I live in Perth, but I'm seriously considering ripping off my rocker covers when I get my car back and posting them to Craved to do. If only I could commit to a colour...

Goes to show that good workmanship etc goes a long way.... And word of mouth/keyboard etc.... :woot:

Colour? Dont want it to clash with your purple and chrome?

Exactly haha. I had decided on metallic gun metal, but thought it wasn't original enough. So then decided dark blue at the back of the covers, fading into a metallic black at the front. But then decided that looks too rice for me. So then I thought just metallic black, but now I don't think that will stand out enough. At the moment I'm thinking of blue, but everyone gets blue... So now I'm getting nothing :P

anyone in Sydney should speak to Competition Coatings in guilford.... Search for Compcoat in google to find them..

They ceramic coated my turbo, intake and exhaust manifolds, rocker covers, throttle body and cooler piping....

The car isnt back together yet but here is a pic so far....

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
