Never driven on a track, never driven that track! I'm gunna die :P

Matt, few tips.

- Brake (when you're going in a straight line) just before the corner. This shifts weight to the front end and allows a sharper turn in. Can unsettle the car if you brake while turning.

- When you're going into the corner, look at the apex and look where you want to exit. You ideally want to take the corner in a straight line after you've turned in.

-Don't be afraid of coming out wide on the corner, this can help to minimise tyre squeel and allow you to start accelerating earlier, the secret is to use all the space the track gives you.

- Once you've hit the apex of the corner you can accelerate.

360rwkw in a RWD car will be a handful on the track so just go into it slow until you become comfortable with the track and the lines required.

oh man theres gunna be some hectic cars in there!!! though your a first timer

you drive with people with similar experience not power. youll be in the 1:25 section for the first couple runs, then move up slowly till your in the right place

pretty keen now mannnn

Will be awesome man!! I am getting an SAU NEWCASTLE sticker :P

Lol no idea what trail braking is, but if that means brake before turn-in while car is pointing straight, then yes!.

Your a clown!! Your giving advice and don't understand what it means? Dumb ass :P GTFO

Dude, I actually read what Matt said as Newcastle Skylines sticker as well =S.

Summoning GTR-34A, are you going to the trackday?

Have you got shit in your eye again?

LOL, I'm a lot more confident in my driving ability, than my ability to install a $70 shift knob =D

Got it..... You can't drive and love the knob?

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
