^^^possibly - it has silly big injectors (2200), wasn't warmed up and hadn't been started in ~10days. This was my intially thought and i'm hoping it's this.

Plug's and coils are good - i wouldn't expect all six coils to fail simultaneously.

I'm going to go though all the relays, fuses, wiring etc either this arvo or tomorrow and see if i can find anything.

Mine has 2000's but doesnt have a proper tune yet.... Have had a failed start once or twice but if yours is tuned you shouldnt have the issue....

It's really only had a basic tune - but, your right it should still be running correctly. I'm going back to the tuner on Friday afternoon to check some things, so i'll get him to make sure the cold start map is right.

Mine has cranked for longer than usual a few times but mine hasnt had any cold start tuning either and they ARE big squirters man

I'd say that's your issue.

They are big ass injectors. Even if the cranking enrichment is a little bit out, it's going to be dumping fuel.

Simple fix. Let it warm before turning it off, just a couple of mins should do it.

And yeah traction is not something available in the first couple of gears!

Well some good news today

After all the time and drama and fitting another loom the go kart now goes

Turns out the loom I fitted had one dodgy wire but its all fixed and running now

Has anyone had a diff centre put in there housing done by someone locally that they would recommend?

I was looking at possibly taking it to difftrans unless someone can recommend a different workshop

There's reportedly a gearbox/diff place in Steel river that's meant to be top notch - worked on quite a few high end cars. (name eludes me sorry)

Otherwise i higly recommend from first hand experience Award gearbox & Diff in Sydney - Terry and Trish will look after you and are fairly competitively priced.

Terry was out of cards when i picked my gearbox up so i don't know unfortunatly :-(
