Hey Skyline Australia,

I want to buy a 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 25GT-T but they are all turbo charged and you can't drive Turbo Charged Cars on your Learners, or Provisional License. It's a good Idea inplace but it's just annoying because I've looked eveywhere and can't find a Non-Turbo Charged 1998 Nissan Skyline R34 25GT-T.

I'm only 14 as some of you may know but I am looking to buy the car within the next year because I don't want a car with a lot of kilometers and it's easier to buy it earlier as it gives me time to save for modifications to the interior when I finally get my license. A

ny idea where I can find a non-turbo for my L's and P's please. I'd really appreciate it and it would be a really nice thing to do.

Note: I'm not Trolling or whatever you called it, I'm 100% Serious. No off-topic comments or comments that are putting-down towards me thanks.

Note2: In my other thread, people said I was un-greatful and greedy. I'm paying half of the money for the car, just so you know.

Thanks,

SkyLow.

;)

Bump - Would Love an Answer Please.

importing a non turbo R34 may be your best option, there are HEAPS of companies that advertise in magazines .for example PERFORMANCE IMPORTS magazine

You gluttonous pig. The VK that your dad built ya isn't good enough? You've got some nerve, kid.

Non Turbo skylines are useless! You're better off buying a turbo version and removing the turbo and the head gasket for more compression. It's bad enough that you're a greedy bastard, but you can't even listen to simple instructions?

You are trolling.

Like I said in your other thread, I'm having fun.

Every troll thread has the possibility for an epic hijack.

Not sure what flavour this one will be.

OT.

Google.

You lazy git.

A 2 second look on Carsales and you will find what you need for $5k. Obviously anything that is 25GT is not turbo. Anything GT-T or GTT is Turbo - the last T means turbo.

Seriously mate, I know people are having a go at you, but a very simple and quick search anywhere on the internet and you would have found the answer without making yourself look like a dick.

In future, for all your info needs, first place to check is Wikipedia

@kawasakirider: Go and Drop Dead, you're a waste of space and just trying to look 'cool' infront of your fellow 'revheads'.

You're the revhead, I'm not the one increasing the performance of my car with matte black interiors and neons, you little speed demon!

@StevenCJR31: Thanks man.

yeah no worries Skylow, dont let the dickheads with the smart arse comments get you down, if you want more info on 34s you can do what i did and google R34 GT specs and you will find heaps of helpful info there

the reason people are giving you a hard time, is that you have gone about this the wrong way.

there is a plethora of info on this site, and all over the internet. the correct thing to do is at least spend 5 mins looking thru the site, and USING THE SEARCH FUNCTION, before posting. there is an entire section for NA skylines, if had bothered to look..

    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow

    • Must have been an absolute nightmare to drive when the power steer was out, the rack ratio/wheel size/caster is all set up for power assistance
    • Welcome to SAU, what are you looking at buying?
    • I checked the injectors again (1 and 2, since they’re easiest to access) to make sure they weren’t clogged. Even though the entire fuel system had been cleaned, I wanted to be certain. Everything looked clean, so I reinstalled and connected everything. When I started the car to confirm everything was okay, it immediately revved up high, so I shut it off straight away. I checked to see if I’d missed a vacuum hose or something, but everything was connected. On the second attempt, the car ran without the high idle, but I noticed a distinct “compressed air” sound coming from the engine bay. Tracing the sound, I pushed injector #6 forward slightly and the noise stopped — it turned out it wasn’t seated properly, despite the fuel rail being bolted down. While holding it in place, the car idled steadily without stalling and ran for over 5 minutes. At this point, I pulled all six injectors out just in case I hadn’t seated them correctly or dirt had gotten onto the O-rings. Unfortunately, I discovered that I had damaged 3 out of 6 injectors (the OEM 270cc ones) during installation. So yes, this was my fault. Since only the pintle caps were damaged, I’ve ordered a Fuel Injector Service Kit from NZEFI to refurbish them. In the meantime, I reinstalled my new injectors – the car now idles fine for over 15 minutes without stalling. I have not attempted to drive it so far. It’s not perfect yet, as it hesitates when the throttle is pressed, but it’s a big improvement. Unplugging the IACV with the new injectors idles at around 800rpm, even with the IACV screw tightened fully. But this is probably due to tune.
