Weird Problems

Ok so had my skyline for 8 months now and had nothing wrong till now

My r32 started glugging and back firing while driving even had it stall on me and not start for 5 minutes and when it did start I had to hold the revs up

Now yesterday it started smoking from the engine and smelt like burning oil

With the glugging I thought it might be bad fuel or spark plugs but now I think it's something different all together

It sounds like the afm is playing up or a cooler pipe has blown off. Now your plugs are fouled from continuing to drive it in that state. How are your mechanical skills? Do you have tools?

Mechanical skills are great I know the plugs are gone

I didn't even think about the AFM I have checked all the pipes can't see anything loose or cracked

Might just change the AFM and plugs and see how that goes

I thought it could also be the head is gone?

Try cleaning the AFM before you go buying another one.

Also, check for any possible way air could be entering the engine without passing through the AFM. For example, cracked/broken/missing/unplugged vacuum hoses, bodgy installation of boost gauges/controllers or leaking/poorly installed blow off valves etc.
