Recommended Posts

Might have to head up for this one. Looks a good turnout and a fun road!

If you can mate, should be worth the effort. Will be good to catchup again... been awhile.

Yes mate, for sure.

I never did get my Nismo suspension back from You-know-who either. But I think I read you bought some coilovers for your car in any case?

Anyway, definitely keen to head up for this cruise

i might be a maybe now, went down to wakefield yesterday managed a 1 14.1 but sounds like a cracked exhaust manifold i will be checking it this arvo :P how did sau nats go?

Aww Damn what happened??

Good time man! Do you have much work done? Hmm check that it has spat the gasket, like mine from nats haha.

Was awesome fun man, my best time was 1:16.4

last session just started ticking when opening the throttle but stop when i back off, ill try and take it off and check it after work on Monday cars got about 240kw but it has been running a bit rich so last dyno day made only 226kw, got coil overs , hks gtrs @ 17psi hi flow, apexii exhaust, i have been running nitto invos which have been alright, using my best sectors on my race chrono i could have done a 1 13.1 there was a couple of slow cars that held you up a bit and 3 out of the 5 sessions had red flags a couple of blown engines and people getting stuck at the end of the main straight haha i watched ya video on you tube i took my go pro as well so ill up load mine as well :)

just sounds like an injector on the way out man, surely you could just stay at the back of pack :)

oh really?? i thought yours was pretty standard! crazy!

blown engines?? who did you go with/what blew?

very keen to see it mate!! let me know!

yeah that could be it as well, i will do my best :P yeah a 180sx and a old bmw blew and a couple of others, i went down with a mate from work in his ve ss and his old man in a bmw m3 semi track car about 150K worth :P we was quick in the turns but i matched down the straight i got the fastest down the straight between all of us

the fastest i got was 178km/h this is the link to one did a quick edit with racechrono details on it :)

Got my aircon fixed last week and it's stuffed again (melted another aircon hose on exhaust) very happy it's cooler (very unhappy with my 300 dollar stupidity, cable ties aren't heat resistant)

Aww chookie! !! That sucks man!!!!

air cons over rated, makes me feel sick :/

i prefer windows down ;)

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
