I actually had sleep last night!! Have not had a good nights sleep for almost 2 weeks. I am not sure if it was all the choc protein shakes but it has been terrible. Even GH bLast didn't work. Finally got some last night with the aid of valerian forte and melatonin 6x . ( Strange yet when I tried the gaba and phenibut the other day it did nothing ) I have stopped choc protein and gone to a different flav

My sleep has gone to shit the past week or so. I can get to sleep ok, but then wake up anywhere from about midnight to 3am, then it takes up to 2 hours to get back to sleep. I think it was because my normal sleep pattern was disrupted by the tour de France.......

I tried phenibut and melatonin last night; got to sleep quicker and only woke up once, but when I woke I was dripping in sweat. Had a few upsetting dreams last night not sure if related to phenibut/melatonin or not.

Melatonin would likely be responsible for the dreams. Why did you want to use both at once?

Took phenibut again last night; definitely sleeping better, got 6 hours which is the most I've slept in a few months. However when I wake up I'm dripping in sweat. This morning was worse than Sunday night, my hair is wet and clothes are dripping wet. I'm a bit concerned. I know other people here have taken phenibut, is this normal?

I've woken up nights in a row dripping in sweat when I've been having perfectly fine sleep and not supplementing anything (just to suggest it might not be related). I've actually almost concluded the reason I'm sweating is from lying in the one position for too long - but no idea why my body wasn't rolling over while I slept...meh

this used to happen to me during last year, no matter what the season (actually, not in summer) so the reason would not be overheating for me. I use the same blankets/doonas for all seasons so it's not like in winter i stack on extra layers either. very strange. also, sometimes it's just my legs/lower half of body that sweats, rarely is it my upper body too. also no supps except for protein i believe

Yeah I definitely wasn't overheating, that's for sure.

Easy test Leesh - stick with the phenibut for a week or so and see if sweating persists. If so, stop taking it for a week and see if sweating goes away. If sweating goes away, start taking it again just to confirm it's the cause (as in theory, sweating should return).

If it appears to be the cause, speak to yer docta ;)

Could it be due to an elevated immune response. Seeing that you are sleeping longer and more restfully could it be that your body has a better opportunity to heal and you immune system is working in overdrive. Just a thought.

possibly? I really have no idea.

Where's the best place you guys would recommend getting melatonin? After the last couple of weeks, particularly last night, I'm about ready to start slamming xanax - if only so I can fast forward through my f**king atrocious nights.

    • Haha no I'll do that one tomorrow. I've been ignoring it. It's the 5.0 one I'm taking about. (There is a little X to hide the 4.7 one if you want)
    • So I'm going to have to keep ignoring the 4.7 update, or whatever version it is? Poop. I was hoping you'd put me out of my misery.
    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
