Think the hardest part was actually getting the harmonic balancer off. Both the pullers we have don't fit it and we had to create our own contraption. Did the job though

Yeah I am 100% getting one now.

Just got a little bit more to save and sell a few shares (After election date)

Then I will be talking to iron chef again.

Pretty sure I am going to go black as well.

Just really depends what comes up at the time

you can always get one before raising all you money. Depending on who ur using. I paid Jspec 1000 to look for one and when they got it i just had to pay the price of the car which will be -$8000. Then the rest you have to pay the shipping when it arrives, then the rest after compliance.

Don't want a GTR.
Looked at the possibility of getting a 33 GTR for a few grand more.

But it will be older and it's more expensive if things break.

GTT is the way to go for something simple and nice to drive.

and because NEO

soon, very sooon

Edit: btw - GTT's are cheap as chips.

$2-3k will get you good reliable 300ish kws too

Already got my stuff I can transfer over ;)

Also 3-4 years ill be richer

So I will be fine with parts needing replacement more frequently. haha

This is true. Im glad that my engine work is 90% done.... I've already told myself im limited by the turbos. So if i want more i have to max them out properly. Next will be throwing in a Haltech and E85 Flex, New suspension, new wheels, and then all new interior.

But looking at the fact my wedding is looking at between 20 and 30k and ive just bought a house i don't think the GTR will be getting much more work for a little bit.

Solved the gas problem with a couple of air admittance valves (plumbing stuff)

Taped up all holes and gaps, even some expanding foam filler in there, to seal the cabin from the boot.

An aav where the window wiper motor was, sucks air from the cabin into the boot.

One in the boot sucking air out to under the guard

Now when i shut the boot it feels right, like a bit of air pressure.

Havent tried it on the road yet.

But it should work like it has all the original stuff still there. (plastic sheeting, rubber flaps etc)

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
