Power Window Problem?

hey guys,

my missus to the stag for a drive yesterday came home and put car in garage and left window down, I hopped in today to go for a drive and went to put drivers side window up and won't go up and is making a clicking noise when u try to put it up?? has anyone had this problem at all would be good to hear some advice..

Sounds like your window regulator motor is either stuck or just crapped itself....

What a coincidence. This happened to me on Saturday except in a M35. Took the car to a Auto sparky and after some tests has turned out to be the power windows electric motor, not the regulator. Part new ex japan...$600. So now sourcing one second hand.

If it's just the motor, are any of the other ones in the car able to fit in it's place? I have all units bar the drivers one.

no motor is unique to the car, that said i can do a bit better than $600 for the proper motor. probably a bit late now.

the c34 problem sounds like a regualator again it is somethin i can source.
