Hey I definitely don't want to kill Chris's sale, but that is the harsh reality of modified cars. But you also have to consider that for $6,500 you are only paying for the engine and associated gear, gearbox and mods - it is a bargain.

It's a paperweight (to me in my personal situation) if I can't register it, I don't have the funds to buy a tow car and all the associated stuff for a track car. Nor do I have the space, time and money to buy a shell and transfer everything into it.

a laugh at 2.5k.... no way 2.5k for a 260rwkw line with the parts I have... just the manifold, 3.5 dump and external waste gate cost over 2.5k... what about the engine management and boost control thats another thousand then you have the rims the suspension and the rest of the exhaust theres another 2.5 to 3k. And then you have a dogbox. Huge oil cooler the size of a radiator and cooler The blow off valves-two of - now thats prob more than 6.5k just there..... and then you have the car and motor.... heheheheee what a laugh.... it says 6.5k firm - thats firm with defect,

The oil leak was just the oil spurting out of the oil dipstick when not inserted correctly and giving it a bit while still cold.... which i hardly ever did... hence all sorted.....

Agreed nightcrawler.... I would be perfectly honest to say I would be sad to part with it for that price..... I have just ordered new rear tyres too.....

It will drive back fine to qld.... I still need to buy the 20 dollar turbo gasket (being purchased tomorrow tomorrow and fit)..... that can be a pain to get the turbo off the exhaust manifold because of the amount of room under the exhaust turbine and the room between the manifold bolts and the engine....you can not get a socket and wrench in there..... I have found a shortened O spanner however made of high tensile steel in order to do it although it will still be no walk in the park.... just cracking them is the hard part once they are loosened it is easy.... :-)

MMmm would be an option but i do not have the stock parts turbo low mount manifold etc i only have the gduounk parts.... i am not too sure how much the box was... I will try and find out...

$so i take it this thread must be being kept hidden either that or people would not be looking for skylines with all of the goodies for such a price.......????

You can not really ever buy a modded car for with these mods for less than $12 thousand with that sort of power.......

Interesting that it has not had any interest / or sold or people look even look into it further....

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
