I have some pressure on my right eye, went to church as usual feeling a little dizzy and tired and time with my daughter makes me cry .. Wish it was a dream but I know it's real I can feel it more and more which proves my theory that sometimes not knowing is a good thing cause now I know I'm certain my body will remind me every chance it gets! Thanks for asking mate I really appreciate it

Hey Scott ,

I am sorry to hear of your painful news , i would'nt imagine what you would be feeling right now , nor would i know what to say to a fellow member . The little i will say is keep your head under that bonnet and have your little girl beside you, keeping your mind focused on the things you love . I will pray to the man upstairs for you, and you will be in my thoughts . All the Best man , you will get through it :)

Your faith in God, Jesus and the Spirit will help you become stronger than you ever thought you would Scott.

Some others on this thread are Christian too, and they're praying. In a prayer chain, we're praying.

In one 10 year period our family was stricken with...

a) one son getting a jaw tumour

b) another son dying

c) my wife contracting 2 types of breast cancer.

During these adversities, we get closer to God - or further away.

We were each forced to make a choice...

I posted up that you're on a journey.

Our journeys continue on my friend!

Your empathy is appreciated Scott.

Faith has helped me throughout. Of course it'll help you through too. No matter what you read about gliomas; whether you're focused on Body, Mind or Spirit, faith will help you through too.

I hope your folks, your wife and your daughter can cope, since they're going through a journey too: each and every one.

I've heard it said on SAU that one would give his left testicle to have a GTR. I understand that. But after experiencing illness and death at close quarters; I'd in the blink of an eye, give away my cars to have good health and life in my family once again. But I know God has a greater purpose.

See! You're a very loving man yourself; that in your hour of need, you found time to empathise with my predicament. I sincerely admire that!!!

I met my wife a little over. Year ago it's a real love story then we had Jessica no this but every week we go to church and pray every day together I know god has a plan it's not revealed yet but it will be great I know it

Scott

Hi Scott

Sorry to hear the bad news, i lost my grandmother last year and its a terrible thing to go through. Im not a religious man at all really but regardless i agree with what everyone is saying here, keep doing the things u love dont let it stop you, because in the end enjoying ur self and being in the company of great friends and family and driving GTR's this is what life is about. After i lost my nan the way i see things now is to enjoy every moment that i have and to make the most of the opportunities.

Hi Scott,

Just read through your thread.

Sad to hear about your situation. I think members have already said what I am about to say. But the best thing to do is keep positive and do the things you love doing whether it be working on your car, spending time with your wife or just having plain old fun.

The medical world these days and technology has come a very long way and treatment in Australia for such things is excellent.

I do wish you all the very best and by all means, you are going to finish completing your engine build

Cheers,

Anthony

Hey Scott,

Just keep doing what you're doing and try to stay positive.

It's not always the easiest thing but as you can see there are many people here behind you and supporting you!

So all the best!

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
