Just had a quick look and tried to do it but just ended in a fight, baby crying etc. usually when I do these I can tilt engine back a fair way but this new one due to rear oil drain I can't. With proper help would it be feasible to lift engine out of mounts forward a bit? Attach box and lift both back in place?

Maybe it's a strength thing Duncan do u have any time free this week? Jez suggested lowering engine cross member which sounds like it could help but definitely with the wife and myself there wasn't enough man power to twist and maneuver that's for sure

Sorry to hear about the bad news and all the best in the future man

I had the same problem brain tumour when I was 15 size of a 50c cent pushing on my brain had it removed urgent lucky it was benign.

First surgeon didnt want to completely remove it all as it was too close to the brain so caused me issues later when I was 19 years old so had surgery again and the new dr brian Owler cleaned the rest up havent had any problems yet now I'm 23.

I had yearly MRI but dr thinks its ok now as you get older they don't seem to come back and said I don't need anymore mri's unless I have problems

Hope you have a similar outcome all the best good luck

Thanks man depends how the surgery went the first time took longer as the surgeon was abit of a butcher jks

Had a Massive scar down the back of my head proberly round 2 months always felt tired and the second time the surgeon was great only small scar on the right rear of my head and a small circle on the top of fr of my head felt like I healed up quicker but maybe I was older then maybe 1month and abit

I'm never going to be the same but

my balance is still abit off and the right side of my body is abit laggy

My right hand is abit shakey but I had to learn to wright with my left I was right handed before

That's how the specialist found it my right side oft body was lagging and bad headaches he sent me to get a MRI straight away

I'm about 8 weeks post op now and own a business and go in for a few hours here and there but I have trouble with complex forward planning and some times forget things, big issue is I have bugger all strength as well as getting fat from being in bed lol I'm just not sure if I can ever be the same and managing 10 staff the stress is sometimes too much but surgeon keeps saying its normal your doing good blah blah

  • 1 month later...

He is super busy and hopefully still very skilled lol, the reason I will send cars there from now on (provided tune is nice) is he is always willing to talk or help. It seems very rare these days and I hope he is very sucessfull because of it.

Hey buddy,

Saw your car up at Jez's place. Had a poke around the engine bay, looked good. Real credit to you.

Not sure the -5s will reach your optimistic power goal, but it will be a blast to drive once your ready. :)

Thanks mate I miss seeing it lol, long as its in the 400 and above I'm happy as that's a 10 second car and I just want to say I live my life a 1/4 mile at a time and for those 10 seconds or less I'm free lol

I lold at this hahaha

Go hard or go home right!!

Yep, judging by many previous forged 26 results 400 and something at between 25-30 psi depending how engine reacts is easily achievable with e85 hence the 2000cc injectors and 23 on 98 should see 370 Ish hopefully. I asked jez not to kill it but it will only do cruise days a few 400m passes and some hill climbs but not circuit days as yet so not fully lean and mean but not conservative either

    • UPDATE: Yes the GSP Axles are compatible. I installed it on my R34 today and they are working a treat! Turns out that the S13, S14, S15, and 200 SX all used the same axles as the HR34, and ER34 NA models. Which is 2 bolt x 3 pairs.
    • Also build this EH ute with 370z motor and gearbox with a couple of turbos just for fun.
    • Got the passenger door on plus the master cylinder and booster. Loaded up to take it home. At home, the colour changes a lot in the light.
    • Nothing cheap, but I have seen the AC Hydraulic DK13HLQ which is pretty close to what you're asking for. The problem is the hydraulic cylinder mandates that the back of the jack be a certain height and Skylines have fairly deep inset floor jack points. A more certain and cheap option is to get some nominal 2x10 inch lumber boards and have one board be 1.5 feet, the other board 3 feet. Glue it all together with lots of clamps to maintain pressure. Make two of these. The ramp suggested above is a good idea, it takes quite a bit of clutch slip to get over each of the boards. I only need the first ~1.5 inches for my low profile jack on a standard ride height car but a lowered car you want to go up to the full ~3-3.5 inches. Paint it or store indoors if you want it to last.
    • Ok. And Nistune? I read (here too) mainly on Stagea threads that it can by "turn off" with Nistune. But they say they still had the sensor plug in. Next week iam going to the Nistune(and other ECUs) tuner so i can finally make it work. I drove the car home and apart from the cut it drove great. No misfire no smoke no hesitation or rough start...so hoping it is this sensor that is missing
