Ok so been thinking about meet time for Southsiders and it's unreasonablly early for a Sunday morn, without good reason. Particualrly if your dragging your partner/sibllings out of bed to come along.

So I am chucking my 12" spanner in the works. Crucify me if you want or stick to the previous plan of 7.30am to get to the proposed rally point.

Event Says: "Cars can arrive at event between 8-9am."

Therefore me personally -> I'll be leaving Supercheap Tuggers at 08:15 on the dot. (Most likely be there by 08:00hrs having a smoke and checking for leaks (U_Kunze) :P

It will take 25 to 30mins (speed limit) to get to there, Especially with the Northbourne lights. If I have to queue for a while behind other attendees cars to get in then so be it.....

I will see the rest of you at the designated "P" area allocated to us inside the fence.

Ok well the meet time was never 7:30...

Cheers to you guys confusing the whole meet location/time.

This is why people that organise events often never do again! You guys make it annoying every time!

Tbh I have the flu this week and feel pretty crappy so if its raining I won't be there myself.

Soz Anthony, you and Eric can organise this end.

Morning Kat,

I agree on one point. - ACT SAU nowdays couldn't organsie a fuark in a whorehouse (most of the time).

- 7.30 leave southside to get to the area nominated by "7.45 or after to leave as a cool group by 8am".... Meaning extra 30mins travel time for everyone not so close meaning 30mins less in the morning to prep, so up and out even earlier.

I'm sorry if I read your previous post on the meet time/location wrong Kat and the above details are incorrect. I know folk who plan to take littluns' and partners that they need to think of first.

Spirited open forum discussions (like this) lead to local division not cohession.

Members are either forced to take sides or decide not to participate. ^ yor point in case. TBH I wont be atttending either - after I finish spitting my dummy in this post.

Maybe I am just hormonal?, Most of the time if it's not life threatening I bite my tongue and let it go over the top. Unfortuantely though I have had enough. Just checked and Grumpy old man pants are on.

I prefer to enjoy my GTR with other enthusiasts and not deal with sh!t forum politics, power plays, self important people and SAU Clique's anyway.

Sorry for the disruption, normal programming will return shortly

Cheers,

Sincerely hope it doesn't rain and a good day his had by all.

*grabs bat and ball, slams door* :P

Wheels has always been an early start and is usually a 7:30 meet. I didn't plan (nor do I enjoy) an early start.

But this just highlights why people don't organise much down here. I'm now done with local events and this includes dyno days.

It doesn't matter if it's this or any other event, I'm just a bit tired of the attitude of the ACT folk in general!

/end rant and move back to the NSW section

Just like a bunch of slack ass mates who cant get up for a big ride (dirtbikes) on the weekend. I blame alchohol.

Like me this weekend... ha, no i have a legit excuse....

I got no dump pipe, it didnt turn up, so i cant go. Usually Just jap deliver so quick... but sht happens.

Ill just finish paving the driveway instead.

Wish i was ready for hillclimbs, but thats life...

(life... dont talk to me about life)

We probably should bounce straight away as entry after 9:00am may be denied.

"Vehicles to arrive on Sunday, 17 March from 7.30am but before 9.00am. Late comers may be refused entry. As Wheels 2013 will be advertised as being available to the General Public from 9.00am to 3.00pm, Clubs are asked to remain in place until 3.00pm."

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
