Has anyone installed this radiator from Natrad in their Series 2 Auto?

Part number: NIS039C/AK ADRAD COMP ASS.

Was wondering if it fits ok?

It's the model quoted for the R33 Auto also.

It's 25mm thick compared to the original 16mm.

The trans oil tank at the bottom is apparently a bit wider also but only by about 100mm either side.

Taking a peak, i dont expect clearance issues, but yeah, wished to see if anyone had done this before

and if I should be wary of any issues.

Cheers,

Pete :)

Don't recognise the part number but on a previous Stagea I got a thicker "stock" type from Natrad and it was fine. About to do it again. The radiator shop should have a book that shows the layout of hoses etc but if you specify to the place you are buying it from that its to go in your Stagea they should be able to sell you something that is fit for the pupose.

Cheers.

The guy I was chatting with over the phone at Natrad was taking a look at the pic's, comparing R34 auto rad and r33 auto rad.

almost identical except for the trans tank at the bottom was wider. Im fairly confident it will be ok. but will soon see this arvo when i pick it up.

I can confirm this is a direct swap for the S2 Auto Radiator, all lines up perfect. No mods to anything :)

Make sure to unclip the trans hose at bottom of fan shroud before trying to remove shroud,

was thinking 'wtf is it catching for a few mins there!' :)

Also the lower half of the middle/round bit of the shroud unclips so you can slide the shroud out without interfering with/removing the fan. (noice one Nissan)

On the original radiator it had a blank/boss at the lower left near the trans cooler pipe.

On this one it was threaded through for a sensor or drain plug, lucky I had a 16mm bolt spare to plug it :).

p.s. For those in Vic, i got this through Natrad Bayswater Vic. Highly recommend customer service, advice and price :)
