Who says the 33GTR is better?

THey are both excellent cars, same engine...

My opinion is the 33GTR looks better, but not everyone agrees - its a personal preference.

Stock the 32GTR is quicker - its lighter and a stiffer body/shorter wheel base so it handles better...

yes,my car are in excellent condition and engine are running very well, have no problem with the car,

coz i already have the car for over one year and i think is time to up grade or change the car,

they told me R33GTR have better turbo than R32GTR and body are stronger,

thats why i think may be up grade to R33GTR,

should i change? or i should use the money to modify my GTR32?

Vspec 32GTR attessa was quicker than non vspec... non vspec checks 4 times a second, i think vspec 32 checks 100 times a second...not sure of the specifics...

its up to you... don't think the body on the 33 is stronger. like i said, 32 has a stiffer body/shorter whele base and handles better stock...

not sure about the turbos - just upgrade yours then they will be better than all the series stock turbos :P

if you like the r32 gtr thats in ur garage but ur bored with it, the rb26 has very long lists of parts available aftermarket that can be used to make the car faster ect. if you got a sweet car already why not modify it and improve on it

R32 GTR is the only real Godzilla. The others just ride on the reputation forged by the R32 on the Race Track.

thats obviously why in japan 33 gtrs and 34 gtrs are popularly raced in n1 racing series, or at drag racing meets there are plenty of the later model gtrs sitting there ready to stop the clocks at impressive times....

or why the r34 is known to have held the lap record on the nurburgring (sp?) something porsche didnt like at all....

whilst i agree that the 32 gtr was designed for the track and is an awesome car, i dont think you can say the later gtrs are riding along on the 32 gtrs improvement.

with each revision came better technology, the attessa 4wd systems for example, in the later gtrs run faster and process information faster making them inherently a better system

there might have been a r32 godzilla but there has also been 400R, nur spec ect

tho i may be misinformed, forgive me, i just own a gts :):P

i think its all depend on you,if you like R32GTR,than you just modify the car,if you like R33GTR,than just sell your car and buy the R33GTR,

i think R33GTR looks much better than R32GTR,but R32GTR more fun to drive than R33GTR,R33GTR are very big car not very good for track use,R32GTR are better for the track day,

good luck mate

    • Ok thanks..that was my second question if i can somehow bypass this even with Nistune(that is all i have right now...aparat from stock ECU. So with some aftemarket it can by "bypassed" or make it work?  I know there is Link or Haltech (mainly used). We have ECUmaster here so i will gather some info about it.
    • Yes. You will need to get the original boost sensor and wire it in. That is.... if you plan to use a stock ECU - even a Nistuned ECU. The Nissan ECU will not operate correctly without it connected. And yes, it will do annoying stuff like you are experiencing. You will almost certainly be better off with some aftermarket ECU, than trying to hunt down rare sensors.
    • Ok so ABS/TCS is "not" the problem. Yeah i know now about the ABS with Nistune(i told that to the Nistune guy) but iam not 100% why or why i dont have ABS. ABS cube is in the engine (always has been) but i had braked couple of times rly hard and brakes just locked and scream. Does all Skylines have ABS cube? That boost sensor https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367633-wtb-r34-gtt-turbo-pressure-sensor-pics-inside/ Is this it? I need to ask but i have a picture of engine bay and i do not see that (100% is not in that place) If i do not have this the car can do what mine is?(cutting around 4000 rpm) Here is the pic of my engine bay(only one i have) BUT i think i dont have that cuz loom was used from my RB20DE NEO and i know (obviously) that it does not have boost control or any wire to that...) so maybe that is the problem? (i dont know for 100% if that car where the engine is from had that)...but i dont have the loom from that
    • I'm with you here. It's either loom has an issue, OR, injectors are not functioning properly. It could even be they're just constantly dribbling, hence the wet, but not firing.
    • Depending on how long the car sat it is very possible for injectors to be stuck open or closed, I'd get them cleaned and flow tested. Other than that, obviously when the loom changes and the car doesn't start any more....the loom is suspect so some tracing / comparing may be required
