Hi guys, selling my fully built nitto 2.7 ltr short block out of my 33 GTR. Selling due to gettting another EPA and putting the car back to standard and selling it as im over getting hassled.

Pretty much just selling the block and internals.

It will not come with, oil pump, water pump, harmonic balancer, sump or top half of the motor.

It has the works

2.7 nittto stroker kit

JE pistons 87mm

I-Beam rods

ACL race Bearings

L19 Head Studs

Block has been sleeved

Machined

Preped

Acid dipped

Blue printed

Has nothing wrong with it what so ever. Can be inspected. It will be out with no head or sump on it.

Built to handle 1400HP and rated to rev to 12,000rpm!

Was making 516AWKW with a T51r KAI on E85 with 26 psi and at 8250RPM

Was never pushed to its full potential as was only a street car

Photo's will be updated asap or i can sms them to you

Asking $10,000

Pm me or contact me on 0423 756 123 Cheers, Christian

Also thought id add the motor has done about 6,000ks which was all on the street. Didnt even get to take it down the 1/4 mile. Oil was changed every 2,000ks. Was very merticulously looked after.

Poor bastard. I know how you feel about being hassled.....and about spending endlessly on them....its an addiction that takes you over...

ps. Anth he's still got heaps to worry about besides the high mount and air filter for an EPA!

Very bad addiction lol im at that house buying stage too so its probly a good thing it goes because ill never stop spending cash on it otherwise. Its soo sad to get rid of it. Victoria is shit n not worth the hassel anymore. Just been very unlucky with cops :(

Last price drop then its going on ebay. Need the cash, wont go any less or i may aswel keep it. Cost alot to do. Ready to drop in. $8000 for a sleeved and fully built nitto 2.7 bottom end!

G'day all...

I've waited some time for advice from admin before I posted the result of this transaction more or less because I feel like a fool, but nothing has come therefore I have duty of care to warn other forum users about Christian aka I LOVE GATE, The bottom end turned up unsealed and full of dust, the block was missing the majority of the head studs, the block is cracked in at least 4 places (stopped counting) all the pistons have metal impregnated in the skirts and #6 has a section which has melted, all the bearings have metal impregnated, 3 broken oil squirters, the crank is 1 size under on the big ends and the mains are 1/2 size under, the rods have massive id pin punches, that's along way short of the description at the top of this thread, Christian has refused to accept a return, a number of businesses have lied during my investigations,

I cant be bothered adding any more....

Glen...

    • The oil pressure sensor for logging, does it happen to be the one that was slowly breaking out of the oil block? If it is,I would be ignoring your logs. You had a leak at the sensor which would mean it can't read accurately. It's a small hole at the sensor, and you had a small hole just before it, meaning you could have lost significant pressure reading.   As for brakes, if it's just fluid getting old, you won't necessarily end up with air sitting in the line. Bleed a shit tonne of fluid through so you effectively replace it and go again. Oh and, pay close attention to the pressure gauge while on track!
    • I don't know it is due to that. It could just be due to load on track being more than a dyno. But it would be nice to rule it out. We're talking a fraction of a second of pulling ~1 degree of timing. So it's not a lot, but I'd rather it be 0... Thicker oil isn't really a "bandaid" if it's oil that is going to run at 125C, is it? It will be thicker at 100 and thus at 125, where the 40 weight may not be as thick as one may like for that use. I already have a big pump that has been ported. They (They in this instance being the guy that built my heads) port them so they flow more at lower RPM but have a bypass spring that I believe is ~70psi. I have seen 70psi of oil pressure up top in the past, before I knew I had this leak. I have a 25 row oil cooler that takes up all the space in the driver side guard. It is interesting that GM themselves recommend 0-30 oil for their Vette applications. Unless you take it to the track where the official word is to put 20-50w oil in there, then take that back out after your track day is done and return to 0-30.
    • Nice, looks great. Nice work getting the factory parts also. Never know when you'll need them.
    • Thanks @jtha7 I will have a look around tomorrow but it is a prick of a spot. These are some photos i tried taking
    • I take it that the knock retard is from bearings tapping a little tune? Thicker oil is a fragile bandaid. You need a much bigger oil cooler and probably the bigger pump being discussed.
