How Do I Remove The Covering Plate From The Rear Rotors?

Fellow SAUers,

I am currently in the process of upgrading my brakes, and in doing so, i am using larger diameter rotors front and rear.

My dilema is, in using a larger rotor on the rear, i need to remove the covering plate that sits behind the rear rotor.

Can anyone tell me how to remove this?

Do i need to remove the rear hub to get to it?

Any help would be appreciated.

need to take the hubs off to remove the dust covers....further to that if you dont want to remove you can fold the out lip up to flatten it out

Yeah id rather remover the hubs and remove the covers all together.

If i just cut it and fold it out, its guna look dodgy as lol. And yes i know noone will see it, but i will know its like that, and it will shit me.

Yeah, i've decided that when the time comes, i'm guna take the hubs off to do it, as i will be taking them off anyway to do a proper center lock conversion.

But still waiting for calipers and rims to come in, so still a little bit of time yet.
