I hope you find the right car for you, I'm sure you will. Best bet is to use the search function as this question has been asked a thousand times.

Get it checked mechanically first, decide what you want from it.

Good luck hunting and yes get a RWC before you buy if you can.

Could save ALOT of Problems and a least gives you a list of what needs doing.

Could be a way of getting it for cheaper too.
