ugh more maps to setup

I have suggestions. Figure 8 skidpan. I can draw it for you if you like? ;op

Also... something that requires entering a largish circle, and going around it a few times, and optionally indicating to exit it. ;o)

ah yeah sorry forgot to respond. yours is fine :)

busy at work as per usual.

No problem at all, as long as you have it i am happy ;)

Did a quick read

If I never done a SAU day but have cams L2 licence how much do I need to pay

Are fire extinguishers mandatory? Due to the no gate rule will bring out the V35 instead of the 14 but dont really want to be hacking that up to mount an extinguisher

As per facebook thread, yes to extinguisher. Read the "first timers" thread linked in the first post for all the details of what you need. (helmet, extinguisher etc)

shouldn't be much if any hassle fitting a fire extinguisher.

how is the bottom part of the back seat held down on a v35, is there a bolt?

if not, you can use a simple piece of aluminium between the passenger seat bolts like we did in the leaf.

randy, facewhatnow?

Oh I paid full amount & I'm a first timer.

Don't mind paying the full, might be bringing my girlfriend along for some passenger rides, can my extra tenner cover that too?

Ha! Nice one man!

Yeah, I'm going to give my wife a couple of rides. And happy to take any other passengers though the day! If I don't break it early!

Innapropriate for an SAU day, but hey i support it :woot: lolz

Considering how bad my driving is, There's every chance I'll be going home a single man.

This would not surprise me

I'll be bringing down a gopro 3 on the day as well so i'll be looking for volunteers for car footage :)

If you put it on FeZ25s car put it away from the roof as that's where the car will end up lolz

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
