The time has come for me to concentrate on my career and future investments. As such I am selling my supra.

Its been a turbulent era with many highs and few lows along the way.

The car needs to go to someone that has the time to enjoy it more frequently than i can currently commit. Everything has been completed and if you installed a built motor it would be an easy daily driven 800hp supra.

This is possibly one of the country most recognised supras. It has been in multiple magazines and online blogs including Performance Imports magazine and The-Lowdown.com. To this day I still weekly links to photos of the car on various groups on facebook etc. It has also one many awards and trophies including a local JDM car show where it took out nearly every award!

The car drives perfectly. You would be shocked to how stock it feel to drive even with 600 odd hp sitting below your right foot.

The car has been designed to sit amongst a group of exotics without looking out of place and I think this has been achieved. There is no hoon or ricer image with the car. Most of the positive comments received have been from older people!

Here is a list of a few of the modifications. Im sure there is more that I have forgotten!

Obviously being in the ACT I'm not 100% across the VIC roads requirements. Recently I was discussing engineering the car for the modifications in full. The engineer said there wasn't anything on the car that could be a problem to engineer. He also mentioned that all vehicle requirements will be aligned throughout the country.

That said I can ask a few mates in VIC that have similar setups what they have had to do.

Oh FFS Nathan...this thread is a joke, right? There's no way you could sell this car, especially so cheap!Of course it's THE BEST modified Supra in the country, and the sheer number of awards it's taken even makes that look like an understatement.

I would wish you good luck with the sale, but you know you shouldn't be selling it :P

It seemed to be the case however a buyer dropped out and now won't return any calls. It appears as though they have been rejected for finance. This also caused another buyer to walk away as they thought it had been sold so went elsewhere. Exceedingly frustrating.

    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
