I have alway loved the r32 but i am worried that someone will steal it or it will break down since it is quite an aged car. Are they stolen often? And how should i secure one if i did grab one? How reliable are they? The 25gt is my backup plan if the r32 is too troulesome.

Sorry for bombarding you guys with questions. I just want to make sure i make the right choice and no get f**ked up the arse in the future.

Well like any car they can break down or cause problems in the future there 20yrs old..

But it does depend on how good the previous owners have looked after it

I've just purchased a 32 early this year and I've find some nice goodies that were left off the mod list, plus some bad.

But in saying that, I don't regret buying it.

Also get an alarm. Skylines seem to be pretty popular with thieves lol

Good luck and go the 32 ;)

most jap cars have alarms but if they don't, at the minimum u want a hidden killswitch that turns the fuel pump of and has to be turned on everytime u get in the car, or either an immoboliser.

GPS tracker r also a great option

LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
