hey everyone,

my silver 1996 nissan skyline r33 gts (non turbo) was stolen tonight (25/06/2013) at around 8pm from forest lake in brisbane

it was stolen from my driveway while i was home, i have both keys and it has an immmobiliser, they have obviously rolled it down the street and started it somehow because i would have heard it start very easily as it is very loud,it is very stock as a rock except for a pod and a decent stereo, its a series 2 with various stickers on the back window,it also has a dent in the front right quarter panel and has stock rims, it has a custom exhaust with a proper tip (NO CANNON) the rego number is 995 STR.it has hid headlights and one is blown.please please please if you see or hear about it at all even about one being stripped or anything please contact me on 0411953118 immediatley.

kind regards

kylle bailey

There are too many skylines being stolen. Anyone else that's reading this, please speak to Chris Rogers!

Really sorry for your loss Kylle. Sure that the guys will keep an eye out for it.

Also, you've posted this in the right area so that's fine. :)

Any further details that can help someone spot it?

Highly recommend posting on stolen imports Australia's facebook if you haven't done so yet getting good results finding stolen cars in recent times. Hope it's found in one piece.

f**k sake these dream boats still havent been caught? Grrrrrr so frustrating they did the same to mine last thursday rolled it down dont no how but i got it back tho hope u get it back in a better condition than mine was :(

4 persons wearing hoodies attempted break n enter in algester 20 mins ago. Decamped in a Stolen Nissan Skyline stolen from forest lake last night !! QPS patrolling

They just have no respect personally I've my car was ever stollen and then recovered I'd want to be doing a full engine rebuild to repairs all the internal damage they'd likely cause being idiots, I gurantee it they'd have a whinge if someone stole their commadore and smashed it up.

damn this is beyond ridiculous! just when i thought there were no more skylines getting stolen. ever since my first one was stolen my new one is garaged with a steering wheel lock and wheel clamp every night without fail. out of side, out of mind is the best advice I can give as it seems the majority of them are stolen from someone's driveway.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
