For sale is my 1999 R34 GTR V Spec. After many years of being into the Skyline culture my interests have changed and im now after a 4x4 to go travelling and tow my jet ski.

I imported this car in 2006 myself. It had 53,000 kms on it then and now it has 100,900. It has always been garaged and cared for. I drove it fairly regularly but it wasnt a daily driver, ie i dont drive it to work.

It is fairly standard, has a 3" stainless steel exhaust from the turbos back, stainless steel braided brake lines, slotted rotors up front, brake master cylinder brace, an apexi air filter in the original box, the original wheels have been powder coated 'passion gold'. Recently replaced the amber indicators witht he clear type. That is it.

I have serviced this car myself every three to four thousand kms. I have recently done the 100,000 km service myself using genuine nissan parts. I have recorded all the work i have done to this car in my own log. I do not trust others with my cars and hence why i do almost every thing myself.

The car is in excellent condition, the front spoiler has a slight split which is common for the model but it cannot be seen unless looking at it from underneath.

Asking $36k.

Can supply extra photos and info to whoever is seriously interested.

Pete.

Could we get some photos of the two front seats please and underneath the front end and rear.

Any damage history?
Do you have the original auction papers? Condition?
Thanks

The car is stored in the garage at my mothers place. So i can get some photos but not stratight away, probably on the weekend when im next up that way. Ill also get photos of the seats, they are in good condition and have had seat covers on them the whole time i have owned the car.

There is no damage history. The front bar has had a respray thanks to some stone chips and a careless idiot with shopping trolley.

I have all the original papers. Auction, De Reg, Compliance etc.

The car is in excellent condition save for the odd very minor mark that i would have to point out for anyone to notice.

Pete.

I've personally inspected this car about a month ago, it's in exceptional condition. The car is as original as I've seen, and if the bank had have co-operated I'd be driving it now, well worth the money!

I went over this car and couldn't fault it, drives really well and is still nice and tight, everything is in great original condition. I spent a good hour checking everything, the car is fantastic.

I've seen all the records that have been kept from the time it was imported, the car is a credit to you Pete, it's as mint a 34 GTR as I've seen, with genuine kms which is a rarity these days.

Also seen the pictures of the major service, everything has been completed to a standard any Worksop would put its name too. Everything is in tip top shape.

Good luck with the sale mate, who ever ends up with your car won't be disappointed. I ended up with a mint 2001 34 GTT 4 door manual

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.
    • My Nismo 1.5 churps a bit on reverse turns when cold, but besides that feels like a stock diff.
    • Yes, but, I paid cash and I'm pretty sure the receipt was in the bin 10 minutes after I got home Note to self, keep all receipts
    • Bunnings would have just handed you your money back on that one!
    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
