Helicoil In Sydney

Evening SAU'ers,

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get either:

- Helicoil kits or the coils themselves

- Have someone put a coil in?

I need to get a coil put into an R34 Brembo caliper (M14 to M12, 1.5mm pitch), I somehow managed to pull one out.

Sydney location please. I don't mind purchasing one online (not from overseas due to shipping costs/wait).

Any fastener place will stock them, and you should have no issues screwing one into the original thread.

Try using loctite 243 on the outside of them so they don't unscrew.

Update on this. I tracked down a pack of 10 helicoils (M12x1.5) from Total Tools in Liverpool (Weatherill Park didn't have as many metric ones). I got high tensile bolts from Supercheap ($1/packet sale woo!).

Brembos are on the car and going great.
