Hey guys,

As some of you would have noticed I have my car for sale, because of this I no longer need this conversion package. I just don't have the time to install it so I'm going to just get a factory manual or an r32 gtr. The package comprises of.

1.jpg

1 x R33 GTS-T 5SPD Gearbox with X-Member and all sensors attached

1 x R33 GTS-T 5SPD Tail Shaft

1 x Standard R33 GTS-T Flywheel, presure plate, clutch and crank bolts

1 x Manual Clutch Pedel Box with master and slave cylinders attached

1 x Manual brake Pedal box

1 x New Genuine Nissan Release Bearing, Bearing Carrier and Retaining Springs

1 x Release Lever (Clutch Fork)

1 x Manual Center Console

1 x Rubber Boot and Metal Retaining Thing

1 x manual spigit bearing

Here are a few more pic I took, see exactly what you'll be getting.

2 things are missing which are the shift leaver from the gearbox (nothing a nismo short shift kit wouldn't fix ;)) and the dust cover from between the engine and transmission housing.

It owes me $2300 so that's what I'm asking

Sully

Hey mate,

Make me an offer I'm open to reasonable ones. Put if you can sersiously get 1/2 cuts for that cheap, why not have a spare engine sitting around too.

Sully

Just rang ICE, they quoted me $2300 for full install, and they provide all parts.

and $1000 just for just the installation. So that leaves $1300 for ALL parts by them.

They also said that your missing shifter is an absolute '****er' to find and cost them about $250 to get another one, not to mention the other missing parts.

So on that note. To buy at your price it would cost me $2300 for parts and another $1000 for install +$extra for missing parts & shipping.

$3300 ++?

Now you see why I say your asking a bit much.

Guys forgot to mention in the main post that I also have the middle console thingy and the rubber boot and retainer in the package as well. This package is complete auto to manual conversion minus the two items listed above.

Sully

Please note will only sell seperately if I have a buyer for all parts. Would prefer all items to be picked up but will freight the "complete package" at your expense.

Hey mate,

For $1300 I'd much rather keep it, I paid more then that for just my gearbox and the new Genuine Nissan Release Bearing, Bearing Carrier and Retaining Springs. So I'm not willing to let it go that cheap. I'd be stupid to. In all honestly if you can pick it all up for $1300 then go for it. Coz I know that most places will charge upwards of $2500 for this same package, not installed, and that's if they can even get their hands on the gearbox. I had to hunt this one down, both brissy and the Gold Coast are dry.

Sully

No problems Sully, I would actually prefer to purchase from ICE as I can see everything before I pay for it, I thought I would offer to take everything off your hands since you need the sale of the entire kit.

Anyways thanks and good luck with the sale.

new price,

$2100-

or will seperate into two packages.

Package A) Gearbox $1200 (Gearbox and X-Member)

Package B) All the rest $900

Pick up from the Gold Coast only.

Sully

Jive, thats a good price ICE have quoted you. Good luck finding a complete conversion kit for less then this. I bought my gearbox rb25 turbo box for 1400 after searching around for a month and calling all over aus.

Hey mate,

I'm not willing to seperate the gearbox from x-member as it's uless to me otherwise. So it's still $1200 for the gearbox, sorry mate. Also the conversion will now be coming with a nismo short shifter, new and still in packet, not included in that $1200, but will be thrown in with the complete package for an extra $150.

Making it $2250 for the complete package.

or

$1350 for just the gearbox with the new shifter.

but for anyone truely interested PM with an offer and we'll see what we can work out.

    • Well, fun day was had, I finally found a house that will do me just fine, 1980's brick build, but with full fresh renovations, plus new colour bond fencing all round so puppies are incoming 🐕, and water tanks for the garden, and it's located in West Goulburn..... @Duncan 🫡, so day trips to Wakie to watch cars going Zoom will be on the cards In the end it cost well under my budget and was actually better than alot of the more expensive joints I was looking at, it is in a good area, close enough to the shops, public transport, and the Wollondilly River Weir,  and the great walking paths along the river, but far enough away from town to see minimal traffic The deposit is dropped, the conveyancer is conveyancing and I should get the keys in a week or 2 as the property is currently unoccupied  As with everything I own, I'm doing up a modifications list, as it doesn't have solar, that is first up on the big list, all of the panels and enough batteries to keep the joint warm, or cool, followed by a largish carport out the front, the small list, which will start as soon as I have keys, is some security stuff, like cameras, screens, and the usual "crazy prepper" additions that weird old people like (mouse holes to stick shot guns out of, and the usual man traps that the average person installs for the unsuspecting and unwanted guests 🤣) The gardens front and back are OK, but, not to my standards or liking, so landscaping will be a fun job to start getting into, so when spring is sprung I'll do a heap of planting, lots of natives and vegetables is the plan, the old owners were more "Old English Garden" type, so basically Roses and other weird looking things that are destined for the green waste bin One thing that is staying garden wise is a nice established hedge out the front, it is about 5 foot tall and covers the whole front of the property from prying eyes As for the car hoist, the roof in the garage has some height to it, but, I'll need to get an installer out to see what can be done, width wise may be a issue, but my building inspector will be getting back to me over the next week with his recommendations  Small, but cosy
    • I tried to get in contact before I went to QLD you didn’t respond, then I tried to contact you in r31 club.  I thought you fell off the earth or something haha.  I will grab it off you but unknown when I will be up that way
    • I think that might be in the question. He is going very low, and I think the standard GTR ones are simple tripod joints (like the rear NA/S chassis ones), not proper CVs (like R chassis turbo/GTR ones). Proper CVs take the misalignment better than tripods.
    • Do you still need the wiper motor and stuff?
    • I haven't used the Crank Motorsport ones, but can I ask why not use standard gtr/gts4 axles at the front? They would easily cope with that power level. BTW.....sounds like quite the project!
