Australian Motoring Enthusiasts Party Needs Your Support!

Recommended Posts

I guess with everything happening so quickly - < 4 months, there is bound to be some dirt they will dig up on the guy.

Personally, I hope that he isn't a fool and gets the required direction and some skills to represent motoring enthusiasts, otherwise this is going to hurt the motoring community rather than help.

Now its up to the Party to get everything sorted out and represent themselves in a manner that will not harm itself in the first instance, and then represent the community moving forward

Guys, the media circus will only hurt the AMEP if we let it.

Honestly, the worst they can dig up is a bit of roo poo and the fact that he lost his job??

The media have taken what little they could find and turned it as negative as possible through ambiguity.

The fact that you all fell for their dirty tactics is the very reason why we never see realistic and relatable human beings in politics.

He only lost his job because the sawmill closed right? Hardly his fault...

I think the reason they're attacking him is because there's a bit of fear. I'd say that's a good thing.

Here's hoping he can actually make a difference, and justify people's votes.

There's 11ntybillion motoring enthusiasts out there. Surely this isn't the best we have.

I guess the same could be said for the other parties.

But come on people, that is the best we have?

    • Right, but not just first manual, but the shifter is on the right (wrong?) side for the land of the free too.... Anyway, good find, 260RS got rare as soon as people realised what was under the skin
    • Thanks for posting this up, and its always nice to see a way to use a newer/more available part to keep the old stuff going. One thing I want to highlight from your write up is that you used the old gear. I am pretty sure the RWD R34 and AWD R33/34 senders would have different number of teeth because they have difference diff ratios; can you confirm? Just something for people to keep in mind if they make this change
    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
