Hi Guys,

Had a quick question regarding upgrading the stock calipers (single piston) on my V36 Skyline to the twin piston stock calipers I have linked to below;

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/360588575252?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

These are the single piston all round calipers I have right now;

Thanks for the help!

They should bolt on, nissan have been using the same pattern for a couple of decades, but the rotor size might be different. You'd have to check the rotor sizes and offsets between the models. Realistically, they don't sound like a worthwhile upgrade. If you want to upgrade, go to the 355mm akenbo or whatever they are. But you'll need bigger wheels to fit them too, see the circle here...?

You might just want to throw some slotted discs, decent pads, and high temp fresh fluid at your setup.

Akebonos go on but you need a 19inch rim that will clear the huge calipers. Theyre massive.

Pressuming you have a non premium (non brembo) you could upgrade the fronts to R34 GTT turbo brake which are 310x30 over the standard 296x25 (feel free to correct me guys im half asleep haha) and leave the V35 rears and do what alex said QFM pads and DBA T3 rotors all round and some fresh high temp fluid.

From what i have been told (doing it soon myself) and read the GTT brakes are awesome and an inexpensive option compared to brembo/akebono

Interesting the V36 went back to a single piston front calliper and smaller rotors than the stock V35 S2/3.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
