the advertising banners and pranks pocket.

no members pay for the site unless they donate, and thats not mandatory.

also the admin you are talking about, one of the founding members of the forums, he is also a fine bloke.

I wasn't talking about an admin there. I also can't tell if you're agreeing or disagreeing with y post. :/

All I'm asking is for the events to be published they don't need to have 100 events a year but the events they do . want to have been to be advertised in advanced. When is the next happy laps? Can anyone tell me that?

Next happy laps is end of sept early oct. awaiting confirmation from the supra club

Dates for all events will be released when the exec have a chance to meet and work everything out. This will happen shortly.

We give the members plenty of notice regarding events. Of we're waiting for approvals on dates or locations, it put of our hands.

Your extremely keen on moving back to sauqld.com right? How about I have a chat with the other execs and sell you the rights to the domain. You can then host it and run your own little thing. You and the other 7 people who voted to stay there...

Sure PM me

Shall do once I've raised it with the other execs. It's a diplomacy not a dictatorship here.

It won't happen because the domain isn't owned by sau qld and I'm sure they have mentioned that they won't be giving it up but hell I'll take it if they have changed minds

i dont remember what your post said it was many pages ago so it was agreeing or disagreeing with your post, which ever one i happened to mean.

That helps. :P

I had said that the club would need to pay for web hosting etc normally but being here we don't need to. :)

I haven't bad mouthed any admins either.

the clubs dont pay for it, prank pays for the forums hosting (or thats the way it was) and the advertising banners at the top and bottom of the site help.

    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
    • Yeah, I would have said the same. It makes me suggest that there are other things wrong, such that the ECU is totally unhappy with the broken sensor. The only other thought here is that maybe it is shorted, which might cause a different issue to the typical "disconnected" sensor.
