So, it's that time that comes every two years. Time to look at new phones. These are work phones and I've finally managed to convince the boss that maybe we shouldn't be limited to iPhones. He is happy with his and will probably go iPhone 5S. I'm thinking Galaxy S4.

First thing is, I understand the flexibilty and customisation that Android offers having owned one previously. Any extras that the new iPhone or S4 have that could be of use?

What are other suggestions?

HTC one is another option, it is the option i went with.

Get your hands on both the samsung and the HTC and have a play with both, the samsung is lighter but feels cheaper/flimsy being all plastic, the HTC is heavier with its metal body but feels a lot nicer/higher quality.

So has my 4s

Which is what's making me curious as to whether the change is all it's cracked up to be.

Apples are a pain in the dick. Eg, the tablet project I am working on at the moment. The have spent months making everything work the easy we need it to on Apple. Took me half a day to get it up and running for my phone.

that being said, if you use your phone for a lot of work emails, the standard iphone mail app is superior to the standard android offering, however for ~$20 you can get touchdown which integrates with exchange very nicely.

If you want to use "work emails" go buy windows. Seriously. I use a windows phone for my on call stuff and its fantastic for outlook syncing.

The best phone currently out is the S4, and its wayyyy cheaper than the icrap 5s.

Did breifly glance at it. Is there much in terms of aftermarket support? Cases, cords docks, etc?

cases and cords yes, but not when compared to iphone offerings for docks, they just use a standard micro USB cable and 3.5mm audio jack rather than plugging onto a dock like the iphones do.

    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
    • OK, if it idles at 1000+ with the AAC, its not an idle airflow problem. The cold start valve just gives extra air when the engine is cold, but you have enough air without it to idle at 1000. I think you are back to a fuel problem, sorry. Can you see the fuel pressure staying constant or does it drop as the revs drop to a stall?
    • Well, I was using ECUTalk software if that helps? Not sure if that only can see engine codes? Is there any other software I could give a try? Or any way I can get a blink code?
    • I never touched it, it should have. I'll try to give it an adjust. With IACV plugged in, it idles at around 1120RPM on average. Max 1200 RPM, Minimum 1025RPM before it starts dropping right before stalling. Took the data from the Nistune logs.
    • Thats what im trying to solve bro  no one with aem tuner experience would advice  much appreciate
