Tony you are being completely disingenuous to yourself lol

I'm not clever. There are areas that I excel in and areas that I struggle in. This makes me selfaware, and a douche from time to time, but not clever.

There are cleverer people than me out there and I'm aware of this.

Eg: Bunta is better at maintaining a relationship than I (as history has proven)

Ants is better at avoiding ATO Audits

McFly is a far superior driver

MagicMike is a far superior driver and is far more patient than I

Nick is far superior at being an idiot than I.

You are selling yourself short lol

I see the point you are making, but a qualified opinion is better than an unqualified one. Like ppl who cite others as their source of authority on mechanical subjects :)

dont have to be smart to get a qualification

as above...

throw your paper around all you like..

if you want to start a pissing fight i have 3 qualification in 3 different fields

I know that there's some 80 year old guy in England who has about 12 different degrees, and even a few doctorates in those fiels. Obviously he has the superior knowledge of RB engines!

Andy: is what your setup is/will be basically a toothed gear stuck onto the end where the CAS was with an optical sensor measuring the teeth to get RPM and sending it back to the ECU?

is this also what the other setup is?

So using your thought process, wouldn't an opinion from a qualified source be more plausible than an opinion from a less qualified source?

And what subjectivity is offered to the comparisons of level of qualification? Is it proven academic results, real life results etc?

    • Finally have an update on this  Rack came in this week so I did a test fit. You do need the S chassis bushings since the rack is 5mm thinner than the R33 rack. The main issue I foresaw and ran into was one of the hardlines not lining up properly with there it's meant to on the rack. After some gentle coercing and bending very slightly, I managed to get it to fit without any kinks and keeping the hardline pretty much in all of the factory mounting positions. I did have to unbolt all of the soft mounts to move the line around so I could snake it out and bend it safely but it looks good to me for now. I'll update when the rack is fully bolted in and functioning.
    • I hear this thread needs an update following its adventures last Wednesday!
    • What are you thinking makes a sequential shit to drive on the street? About the ONLY thing I can think of, is if you're wanting to be able to roll up to lights in third or second and pop it straight into neutral, or you want to come down two or three gears, say out of 5th and back to second, but they shift quick enough it doesn't really matter
    • I'm not a drag racing guy, but that was a good watch. Didn't Ibrahim's car have some cooch! But the big question is....WTF is with so many of them running without seatbelts!
