How are you ants. Stinking hot day in Brisbane today. Top of 41

Hottest January Day since the 40's apparently

Im good mate.

40deg!!!

So glad I'm not in Oz to experience that silly heat!

I hate the summer heat full stop!

nah mate all target jsut me getting pulled over.

I reckon on was a tip off casue he pulled me and breathoed me 3 times and drug tested me twice.

did my breatho training not that long ago and really one is enough. i think they thought i was someone else.

other 2 were license checks and one was a defect, breatho and license.

actually stood at the front of the car for 30 mins talking to the cop. He was a top bloke.

just remember guys. cops are taught to apply discretion and the "attitude test" so don't get snarky until you're sure of the outcome.

wrong place at the wrong time........it happens

Agree. Just be sensible with the boys in blue

I do believe thats what its called.

Actually watched a pretty cool Matsuri video the other day. Wouldnt mind attending one, spectating only though as i cant drift lol

Have been the last two years and jumped in a few different cars, this year we'll be heading out in a super f**kin widebody s13 with an ls1

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
