Exemption had to have power to weight and now they changed it to power at the flywheel, to weight

What a bunch of tards!

Tell them to put the car on a chassis dyno and use this conversion calculator

http://khetan.gajjar.co.za/cars/calcs/PowerConversionCalculator.htm

Exactly what I thought, I'll play there game and they will more than likely throw me another curveball, but either way I will still have the car, wheat her I can drive it untill next year or not is the issue

I don't beleive you need a dyno. Clearly it says in column 2 of page 1, that you need a spec sheet from the manufacturer OR a dyno.

This Zac, under manufactures specs a 33 GTST has a power to weight of 126kw/ton.

Supporting person - GP - Because you will suffer significant mental trauma if you have to drive a NA Auto R33 :P

This is one of the most truthful things I think I've ever seen Tony type :P

    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.
    • That is surely the biggest gathering of Stageas in North America, ever!

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
