Hi Andy, details on the new exhaust & car............?

New exhaust is a HKS Hi Power silent, New car is some type of daily 4x4 my girlfriend likes the idea of a Suzuki GV due to its size, A Prado, A Challenger and a Discovery 4 are also on the radar, I am betting it ends up being a Grand Vitara though, which is ok because I told her if its a GV then a few choice mods will have to be on the cards and that was given a green light lol

savings are a good feeling savings are a good feeling, I kind of like having savings even more than I like my car, I guess thats why when it needs something it spends long stints in the garage, it just always slides down my priority list!

No medication, that comes from a life time of listening to my Grandfather, its sort of ingrained into me. He had a basic career as a soldier and farmer and ended up retiring with over 20 million bucks, Paid for all our education and left us money for when we are married ect ect. Pretty impressive and I aim to emulate him as much as possible. So my goal to do him and my parents proud pretty much always overrides the piglet in the garage!

Farming can be very profitable!

realistically, best thing you can do with your savings is start a business.

in terms of returns at least, not sanity. Sure does beat people charging you out at 3 tines what they pay you though.

Sorry Bunts, I wasn't having a go at your grandfather nor his epic achievements or your principles.

It was just the way you had written your post "savings are a good feeling savings are a good feeling" it reminded me of someone who is high (again no disrespect)

that mate, depends entirely on what kind of business and whether you can become successful at it.

It can be, but cashing in on the Gold Coast Real Estate boom was where a lot of the monies came from!

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
