Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Expensive tastes! Nice venue though

These were the best reviews

Sounds about right. It's a good place to start the night for a fancy night out. The girls are getting all dressed up so why not go to the most pretentious bar in Brisbane? A client actually called it that. :-P

Which one is Mick o Malleys?

The one near the winter garden

The client was spot on! old slappers, weird for the sake of being weird furnishing and poor people acting rich by wearing a Lowes suit after a hard Friday in the mail room at a near by slip, trip and fall lawyers office.

Ahh makes sense.

The clientele is actually pretty varied. Thursday nights are good. You get some real money coming in the door. Fridays are interesting. It's quite the mix. I know a few guys from the big 4 that head there for start up drinks.

Pretentious? If they mean, nicely styled, good range of drinks and toilets that don't smell like piss.....and good food, then yes maybe pretentious???? I've done a Sunday session there in jeans and a t-shirt, and been taken their for dinner by a supplier, both times everything was great.

Dam I miss being in Brisbane for weekends (I sound like a broken record I know..)

a dinner at the pub in dalby just doesn't match

I had to drive out there 3 days in a row to do a crappy install in a pub out there. Had to rip it all out 6 months later due to them going broke ..... Such a nothing town. Do not recommend.

    • Just to add, I found the r32 gtr ecu the most forgiving, the r33 one would get the shits.
    • For what it’s worth I drove my gtr for over a decade with gt-ss as a true daily after I pulled off the -5s, I had it engineered and went with stock ecu etc.  never skipped a beat.    I would only worry if you can’t get good fuel all the time in a tropical paradise
    • I bought an engine from a friend of a friend many years ago, it was sold to me as a RB25det Neo.    recently I started pulling it apart and noticed that the intake manifold was pretty different from others that I had seen on RB engines so did a bit of research and found that it was a non turbo manifold. So I’m sceptical now that it is a NEO DET and just thinking it’s a NEO DE (it does have a turbo strapped to it currently).    can you identify the engine model from the numbers on the block?
    • Yeah you can. Cable tie the gauge to a windscreen wiper, or run it into the car and hold it with one hand, or have the neighbour's kid run alongside and tell you what it says.
    • I've never understood why this bothers people. Surely you'd be looking at a T3 flanged Garrett style thing, rather than a TD? You're unlikely to push a +T hard enough to need that much fuel. If you're not starting with most of the things you need to do that (ie, the bloody ECU!), you're better off just going Haltech/Link. You wil hate life a lot less. No. Just no. Just turbo it as is.
