Yes waiting to go out in grp5 3or4th session and red evo driver initiated a chat with v8 m3, cut version=you take interesting lines; what do you mean?; I was overtaking and you moved into me sending me on to the grass:-) Before it got worse he walked away.

All in all good day, got to see some new faces was expecting rain in the arvo and it didn't arrive, result. Personally can't wait to shred the 2nd hand tyres and get some new ad08s or rtypes.

Good day indeed, quite happy with the prius doing a 1:12.5.

Must have been an evo thing as one in group 2/8 got a bit carried away on the overtaking front

great day, i had a ball... there was a decent amount of track time available even with the large number of cars

weather was good, and the datto ran well all day, cant ask for much more than that!

So... I set a PB at Calder of 1:02.417 using my Qstarz Lap timer, as can see in this video...

However the Dorian failed to work for that session, and as my mates say "unless it's on Natsoft, it didn't happen!" I have to settle for the 1:02.5704 Natsoft recorded... Im uploading that video also.

The best video is the one where I am chasing that beautiful 997 GT3 on slicks for 8 fast laps. I get held up with some traffic, but gawd it was probably the best fun i've ever had in the car. Uploading that also as we speak :)

Here is my best, my 2nd session in the day, not quite a 1:02 but fun all the same.

Only reviewed footage from the one session so if I've captured anything interesting in Grp5 footage will let you know.

i was in group 6. i had the in car camera rolling in all sessions except 1 when i missed the start and didnt have time to turn it on...

so if i crossed paths with anyone in group 6 ill have some footage of them. i was in the white datto 1200

Half a lap. Wasn't expecting big things from this bottom end but was hoping to get a few laps in. Engine is all apart now just waiting on a few bits to come back from machining then back together and in for some long nights

we had a bit of a calder park moment with a little drag race down the main straight, i think i lost sight of you by turn 1 :woot:

theres also an R33, a white WRX and a couple of BMW's in this clip too

if anyone has any footage of my white datto 1200 id be keen to see it

I'm down for work on both 2nd and 9th though as I'm doing a mate a favour covering the 2nd, maybe I'll push him to return the favour for the 9th now I've realised both dates are impacted. Will be at the Nats though.

    • Yeh I think i'll message an old contact i had for ages that manages his own tyre shop now.. n tell him what i want n work with him before ordering..  Got this 17x9 +30 Driftteks on 245/45/17 PSR Drag Radials on the rear.. They fit well - for your reference in future - Rear guards  have been lipped in & minimal to non flaring of the rear Gaurds.    
    • If only it were that easy! I also needed to remove seats, shocks, brake calipers, send my car through a fence, and use measuring and ended up guessing because I didn't remove seats, shocks and brake calipers. It can be hard sometimes Can be a little more complex than 'just measure' if you want to truly measure the entire wheel through all of it's suspension travel. But if you aren't going for every last mm then yeah, you can check the space you currently have and guesstimate.
    • If you own a car, and it has wheels on it, and you know the offset of those wheels, and you have a measuring device, you have everything you need to work out if other wheels will fit.
    • Will this fit? but they are staggered set - RAYS 57DR SEMI GLOSS BLACK 18x8.5 +37 | 18x9.5 +38 5-114.3 STAGGERED SET   or If no go could just get a set 4's wheels of 18x8.5 +37 5-114.3 - would i run 8.5's 235s up front n 245's at the back if I do?   Thanks.        
    • Put a clamp on your return line. I have a feeling it's sucking air, and introducing bubbles to your fuel. With a lot of fuel, less problematic. I'd honestly be redoing all the lines in the tank and clamps on everything.   Also, you've given two different answers to the same question: Asked if being followed by the police you could get down to use the whole tank, you said yes you could, so long as you keep off boost. However, you then followed this up that free revving, it would also cause the issues. I'm doubting free revving is enough to make any noticeable boost on what is likely a decent sized turbo.   So now I have to ask, can you actually drive it lightly and use all the fuel, or does it break up even free revving? Also, have you put a fuel pressure gauge on it? Can you hear the pump change noise at all when you're having this issue?
