Any tips of getting the hoses off the fuel filter?

tried pliers

tried massive amounts of yanking

tried hot water

damn thing wont budge.. about to take to it with scissors.

Use pliers and GENTLY twist the hose backwards and forwards

Otherwise just lop off the hose and put on some new stuff

A thin screwdriver just inside the lip of the hose will help break the seal, maybe a little WD40 in there if you can, then twist and pull.

stanley knife, then replace with new lines... whilst your at it.. might as well pop in Gates Barricade (in case you ever decide E85 is going in)

Yep. Jewelers flat-blade screwdriver to break the seal and a squirt of WD40 or Inox usually does it.
