zoomzoom Posted October 31, 2013 Share Posted October 31, 2013 Hi Im trying to find a device mentioned by another member, one that would modify the throttle % signal for the transmission, so that you change the shifting response of the auto. eg, you can open the throttle plate more, but the transmission still thinks you are opening the throttle less, and so wont kickdown, rev out etc. I dont have any name to search for, but does this sound familiar? scotty nm35 Posted November 1, 2013 Share Posted November 1, 2013 If it changes the TPS position, the box may well think you aren't needing full line pressure to the auto, which means slipping clutches. I would speak to MV, Kewish or some prefered specialist before you try anything like that. You could always build the box and manualise it...
