Hey all, im new.
i live in the United States, and just ordered a 1990 R32 Sedan through an importer.

its finally coming up on the 25 year federal exemption.

my issue here is, ive been searching everywhere, and cant find anything on R32 GTS4 (AWD) SEDANS.

does anyone know production numbers, info, tech, anything? i simply cant find ANYTHING on a GTS4 SEDAN.

i only find GTS4's or SEDANs, not both in one.

anyways, thank you all in advance for at least looking at my post.

Grats on the purchase, I have a gts4 four door myself. Not sure about total numbers but there are a few things such as the gts4 does not have the full atessa ets spec 4wd system that the gtr does. Apart from that the gts4 4 door shares most of the stuff that applies to the gts4 2 door. I would say most if not all other parts are interchangeable with a normal rwd 4 door. I have heard the ratios and spec of the gts4 gearbox is slightly different to a gtr as well.

Look at BC BR. Look at getting the suspension bushes and such done.

BC BR? i want to do all the bushings, suspension, and chassis bracing but cant find too much for my car.

i can find parts for GTS4 coupes, or for GTS-T sedans, but i dont know if parts will be compatible from either (suspension wise)

From memory I have TEIN HA and HR Coilovers in the car, but the suspension is as hard as a rock almost, Great driving car, but not on uneven roads.

My car also has chassis bracing along the bottom of the car, from the rear subframe.

I have TEIN unknowns and they are too stiff for the roads (Sydney roads). Great on the track and smooth flowing roads. Got Ohlins with relatively soft Eibach springs for street duties.

Look into HSD AD (I think there's an R32 GTS option), they are pretty comfy (in my mate's S15).

ive never heard of them. ill have to check em out.

i need something that will inspire confidence in the corners, and still ride "comfortably" on a daily drive.

I dont know about that, you'd probably need to troll through the forums trying to see if theres any info on that, an uneducated guess would be that the suspension mounting points are probably shared with the GTR, but thats just a guess.

Hey AZ, Cool you joining the four paw club, i Have a 93, A31 Cefiro SE 4, All my atessa electricls, abs sensors, abs pump, atessa Computer, abs computer, Girro sensor under the centre consol, are the same as yours and the same as an R32 GTR, I now run a R33 GTR gearbox, GTR axles & brakes all round, Tien Ciol ova's with 13 damper adjustments, They are perfect now i have them set up properly , its hard to understand that different wieght of the cars makes a big differemce, back all your dampers right of, then asses your springs damper rate as you can obtain the correct spring rates if need be them adjust the front dampers half way and see how that goes, My Tiens are halfway adjusted on the front & nothing on the rear, when i had them adjusted to full damping i was getting arse bounce over uneven surfaces, now its all good with nothing, i bought mine second hand in good order, for $800 nz & they came of a R32 GTR track car that crashed, Also a must is much hevier sway bars, mine is 25mm on the rear, i still have a 19mm on the front as i dont rearly need to change it, when i fitted the Tiens i dropped the Cefiro down 30mm with i good for me but i had to fite adjustable suspension arms on the rear 3 each site to get the camber & caster correct on the rear end but the front only neede a tow in adjust ment done so no adjustables on the front suspension 1m neg camber perfect, Well i could wafflel on all night ha, but our cars are almost the same, so check out the specs on my atessa 4 Cefiro, any questions no problem, Jamind, P/s Had a good race yesterday with a late model v8 5 Litre plus Holden He ran out of grunt at 220 ks , i pulled out to pass him in 4th changed into 5th @ 240 ks, Ha you should have seen his jaw drop it was to die for

I'm pretty sure the GTS4s gave different suspension set ups to the GTST, however I'm positive they are compatible with GTR components. It also shouldn't matter about wheth its 4 door or not I put gtst coupe springs in my gtst sedan. Also I found a great website with heaps of info on r32 build dates etc

http://www.gtrusablog.com/2013/03/nissan-skyline-r32-serial-or-chassis.html

If you need any more help feel free to ask, here in NZ we got every single model of r32, even the GXi 1.8l ones :) and we have a shit ton of 4 doors

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
