Upgrading My R34

Hi guys, first post on here.
I got a R34 just before Christmas and think its time for some upgrades.
The only upgrade (that i know of) is a full exhaust system and that's it engine wise.
I want to turbo it eventually but cant until September because of P plate laws. I also don't know much about turbos. Can anyone help me with some engine upgrades to help beef it up a bit?

Don't bother making it faster, just wait until you are off your P plates, trade it in and buy a factory turbo model.

Full service, change all fluids. New brake pads (QFM HPX) and new Super DOT4 brake fluid. Change suspension if they're worn. Replace any worn bushes. Buy better tyres, wider wheels if they're standard. Most importantly, learn how to drive.

No point putting a turbo on your N/A car when you can't turn and brake. Unless you want to piss away thousands of dollars to wrap your car around a pole/tree/another car. Wait until you have full license, then sell the car and buy a GT-t as mentioned.
