The Ebay sellers go in and buy the lot when they arrive, then sell them to unsuspecting purchasers for a premium. It shits me and I have complained to Costco a few times, as they won't hold stock, even for warranty return customers.

Don't buy ratchet car stands, the pin type can't fail catastrophically.

I bought mine a few years ago before costco was even here in Melbourne, the guy use to do nothing but import jacks and supply workshops.

I paid less than what Costco sold them for now back then when i got it.

bit of a thread revival but i was just looking for a decent trolley jack. costco ones on ebay are now in excess of $400, there is even one listed for $800!

i ended up ordering one of these

i talked with the seller on the phone and seems like a good deal, has a 12month warranty and i was told they've only ever had one returned. ill update next week when it arrives

That's the same brand as the stands I bought. Still need to get a jack though. Will look at a torin. Missed the Costco ones by a little while.

When did Costco stop selling them? I thought it was pretty sweet for the price and picked one up when they had heaps

They still sell them, they are just waiting for a new order to come through. My mate went down there last week and got told they will be getting some within a few weeks
