Now i want a GTR badge.....For the Volvo

The fakies go with undercar lighting and massive bodykits. Cheap broad minded persons bouncing to the duff duff.

Which actually is heaps of fun when your 17.

You cant expect 17 year olds to have good taste, they havent had time to develop it.

broad minded person lol, like the god thing, its a good idea and funny.

I have a GT-R badge (R33 style) which obviously doesn't work on an R32.

What if you have Euro-trash stuff on your GT-R? I have Ohlin (Swedish) dampers and Eibach (German) springs.

Is there a European-Japanese-Chinese ratio equation to follow?

You could put an AC Schnitzer or whatever that tuning company is, badge on there.

Hmm..... i have a few American bits.

Time for a Chev badge on the 32

This thread makes me laugh so much, ill try no to whore it.

You might as well make your following posts in this thread start with "I'm obviously a troll so I'm just posting something stupid to try and cause trouble".

Can someone kick this thread over to wasteland so it can be given the treatment it deserves......

By your reasoning, you are generally a butthurt :D

Your parents are stupid.

You are the proof.

Pretty much speaks for itself :)

This thread brings the lolz.

Can't believe kids these days don't have anything better to do than troll a good skyline forum.

Bet you have a sv6 commy and got but hurt by some skyline laying waste to your feeble attempts of street racing.

What is wrong with an Sv6 commy?

I have one which is an Sv6 ute, they do any task effectively and efficiently which puts a smile on my face.

Now im getting old.....

Hair is growing out my ears.

And jalapenos makes my butthurt.

But not a cars style or whatever badge you want to put on it. My car is the way i like it, yours is the way you like it.

Hmm...just to answer the OP's question (if its genuine)

if u take a look at japanese car magazines, car clubs and forums... there is an entire community built around the GTR...whether its the R32, R33 or R34.. If u heard of the jap magazine GT-R, u'd see that they have been in business for quite awhile but what do they write about mostly?

Then there is a bigger community built ard the Skylines. To a lot of people (including myself), the GTR is a childhood dream car...So it would seem sacrilegious that u or anyone else diss the car that a lot of people love... or even put a GTR badge on a GTT... not that there is anything wrong with a GTT, if u cant afford a GTR or chose not to get one for whatever reason, its fine. Be proud of what u have. Dont have to go around insulting other people's passion. you wouldnt want people insulting something u liked/loved rite?

if this thread was meant to get angry responses.... then thats just plain silly and a waste of your time.

Just my 2c on the subject.......

a long forgotten and now extremely rare human commodity is the idea of 'honour'. It features very large in History and is particularly revered in Japan.

Putting a GTR badge on your non-GTR is all manner of things.....it is your right......it may be funny.......it may upset people.....it may be an attempt to disguise the reality of your situation ..... or it may be accidental.

One thing remains though - it is dishonourable.

It is your choice whether that matters to you. I know it would matter to me...

Cheers

This reminds me when I used to ride road bikes. A mate put a Honda decal on a Kawasaki and you should have heard the shit fight. Some people even got angry.

Its the same as slapping on a 'M' badge on a beemer.

I personally dont care what people do. If it makes you happy :)

Hell, I couldn't even bring myself to put a SSS badge on my LX Bluebird. Just didn't seem right. :/

however, having a StageA Unicorn sticker, Floormat and Cargo net in my R31 SkyWagon is a minimal F**ks given as it amuses me.

    • Dear folks My family members have 4 different cars : Triton 2015 and Corolla 2011 and Mazda3 2012 and Hyundai Elantra 2014 Looking to buy engine oil funnel spill free What I found are are below  https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BBTTJNKX?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&th=1 https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/145553221359?srsltid=AfmBOoqYBU6Ptw0LU_bAp_k67U3qkF97HHvePkA7iHZw8vUmiwoIRaRr https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09X23TCS5?th=1 Is there a funnel with attachment that fits most cars ? Don't mind to spend for a decent quality  Thx
    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
